Academic Committee Work Regulations
In order to ensure the standardization and scientificity of the academic decision-making work of the Academic Committee of Dongguan Fumuyuan Red Sandalwood Museum, this working procedure is formulated in combination with the actual situation.
Article 1 The Academic Committee adheres to the principle of democratic centralism. All members shall adhere to the principles of fairness and impartiality in deliberating and making decisions on various matters. The presiding officer of the meeting shall earnestly listen to the opinions or suggestions of each member, and in particular, pay attention to listening to the opinions or suggestions of members who do not hold administrative leadership positions.
Article 2 The plenary meeting of the Academic Committee can only be held if more than two-thirds (including two-thirds) of the members are present. Matters to be voted on by the Academic Committee shall be voted by secret ballot on the basis of full consideration, and the voting results shall be valid only if passed by more than two-thirds (including two-thirds) of the members present at the meeting. Matters relating to academic review shall be voted on by recorded ballot.
Article 3 When carrying out academic review work, the Academic Committee may, according to the actual situation, formulate corresponding review procedures for specific matters.
Article 4 The Secretary of the Academic Committee shall submit the minutes of the meeting, voting results and other relevant materials to the Office of the Academic Committee within three days after the end of the plenary meeting.
Article 5 The Academic Committee shall conscientiously perform its work duties and strive to complete its work tasks. At the end of each year, an annual work summary and a work plan for the following year must be submitted.
Article 6 For important academic reviews and academic deliberation matters, the Academic Committee must establish standardized evaluation procedures and evaluation methods, and clarify the responsibilities of relevant departments in each procedure.
Article 7 When deliberating or reviewing relevant academic issues, relevant experts other than the Academic Committee may be invited to attend as observers as needed.
